- An extraordinary edition of the information magazine "bracco.com", which has a different graphic layout from the usual sheet used for communications to employees, and which summarises all the most significant events and passages that characterised 1997, the year of the company's 70th anniversary. Among the various initiatives carried out during the celebrations and aimed at the company employees and the outside world, we would like to mention: the "Quality for the future" project, the participation in the inauguration of the Visible Human Dataset - Milano Mirror Site (a digital bank containing over 20.000 bioimages at the disposal of researchers, scholars, students and radiologists), the renovation of the Guastalla Gardens in Milan, the donation of an ambulance to the "SOS Lambrate" Association, the 1997 Europa Cup international five-a-side football tournament, the musical performance of Pooh at the Palavobis in Milan, the inauguration of the "SOS Lambrate";Esedra of the Palazzo Borromeo Arese in Cesano Maderno, the cycle of concerts "Bracco, 70 years of well-concerted science and culture" (concert by pianist Christian Zacharias at the Auditorio di Santa Cecilia, pianist Bruno Leonardo Gelber at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza and at the Teatro Bellini in Catania) and the Group General Convention on Research and Development.
