November 2012 sees the opening at Palazzo Morando in Milan of the first monographic exhibition, promoted by the Fondazione Bracco, dedicated to the artist Angiolo d’Andrea. Painter, graphic artist and engraver, he lived his most productive period in Milan and left to the Lombard capital works that have now become part of the city's heritage. A fundamental role in the rescue of Angiolo D’Andrea's collection was played by Elio Bracco who, shortly before the painter's death, purchased en bloc the many works still in the Milanese studio in the hope of mounting a major exhibition dedicated to him. The exhibition, after being shown in Milan at Palazzo Morando, came to Pordenone, the artist's homeland, in 2013 for a rich second edition.
