In 1994 Bracco signed an agreement with the US company Bristol - Myers Squibb Company for the acquisition of Squibb Diagnostics, contrast media and radiopharmaceutical division and related research unit. Bracco officially enters the US market by establishing Bracco Diagnostics Inc. and Bracco Research USA.
