Tullio Bracco

Tullio Bracco was born on 12 March 1911 in Neresine, on the island of Lussino in Istria, to Giovanna “Nina” Salata, sister of the senator of the Kingdom Francesco Salata, and Elio Bracco, town secretary of Neresine and Ossero.
. Elio Bracco, thanks to his relationship with the Merck family of Darmstadt, owners of a well-known German pharmaceutical company, founded in Milan in June 1927 the Società Italiana Prodotti E. Merck for the purchase and sale of their chemical and related products.
. On September 1, 1946 Tullio Bracco officially enters the company with the title of Manager, he is entrusted with the direction of the Scientific and Propaganda Department and is appointed Attorney of Bracco already Italmerck S.p.A.
. In addition, from 1962 Tullio became the Editor-in-Chief of the house organ "Notiziario Bracco".
On 14 June 1965 he was appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Manager, maintaining the position of Scientific Director
. On 31 August 1976 he left the company due to retirement.
